Laura Rockwood Quoted in The Guardian on the JCPOA

VCDNP's Executive Director Laura Rockwood was quoted in a recent article in The Guardian on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action between Iran, the P5+1 and the European Union.

In the article White House 'pressuring'intelligence officials to find Iran in violation of nuclear deal by Julian Borger published on 28 August 2017, Rockwood is quoted regarding US requested International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections in Iran.

“If the US has actionable intelligence that is useful for the IAEA to take into account, and I mean actual and honest intelligence, not fake intel that they tried to use in 2003, then I think the agency will respond to it [...] But if they try to create evidence or if they try to pressure the agency into simply requesting access because they can, I think it will backfire.”
