On 26 October 2018, Angela Kane was invited to speak at the opening ceremony of the 2018 session of the Oxford International Model United Nations (OxIMUN). With over 500 students in attendance at the venue in Oxford Town Hall, Ms. Kane spoke about the changing state of the world order in recent years, as well as setbacks in international cooperation. Ms. Kane was joined at the event by Matthew Rycroft CBE of the United Kingdom's Department for International Development.
