Angela Kane to Co-Chair the 2019-2020 Global Future Council on the Korean Peninsula

VCDNP Senior Fellow Angela Kane has accepted an invitation to act as co-chair for a second year on the Global Future Council on the Korean Peninsula.

The Global Future Councils are a network of top experts on various issues, such as discord on the Korean Peninsula, that works to produce innovative ideas to inform world leaders and policymakers. The councils meet throughout the year with the aim to make meaningful contributions during the World Economic Forum, which meets annually in Davos, Switzerland.

In addition to her work on the Korean Peninsula, Ms. Kane also participated in a panel discussion during the last World Economic Forum on nuclear brinkmanship, which addressed the complexities faced on the international stage related to the demise of the  Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
