The Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) will offer an in-person intensive short course on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament policy issues specifically designed for diplomats and practitioners from 10 to 14 March 2025 in Vienna, Austria.

Taught by experts from the VCDNP and Vienna-based international organisations, as well as other internationally recognised professionals, the one-week programme will include: an extended analysis of the non-proliferation regime; an overview of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and its associated institutions and mechanisms; the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization; and an assessment of current challenges to nuclear non-proliferation, arms control, disarmament and nuclear security.

The language of instruction is English; therefore, good English language skills are essential for successful completion of the course.
