Data security
VCDNP collects a limited amount of information about our site visitors. The information collected serves to improve our site and make it more pertinent and useful. By knowing a little about you, VCDNP can deliver more relevant content and improved user experience.
IP addresses and Website Requests
We store IP addresses and Website Requests to be able to troubleshoot in case something goes wrong and to understand what the underlying causes might have been.
Subscription to VCDNP Events and Updates
When you register for our updates, we ask you to provide us with your email address so we can e-mail you information about our events, news and updates. During the registration, we also ask you to provide your name and company because it is helpful to us to track our audience profile to better tailor the news we share. We will keep this information as long as you are registered for the newsletter or change your details in the link submitted with every email.
Only VCDNP will send you these e-mails. To send out announcements, we use a mailing system run by Constant Contact -- a US-based company certified under the “EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.” Your email address and information you enter with the subscription will be transferred to, and saved on, Constant Contact server in USA.

Storage period
The deletion of stored personal data takes place when you, as a user of our website and/or customer, revoke your consent to storage, when your data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored, and after the expiration of legal storage obligations or after the expiration of the duration of any legal disputes that may continue beyond that time, or if your storage is or becomes inadmissible for other legal reasons.
Disclosure of data / recipients or categories of recipients
We do not give, rent, lend, or sell individual information to anyone outside of VCDNP.
VCDNP will only disclose personal data as described above to comply with applicable laws or valid legal process or to protect the rights or property of VCDNP.
We may disclose aggregate information -- for example, 5,000 readers clicked on a certain news-article -- in order to describe our services to partners and other third parties and for other lawful purposes.
