The Russian program of Deutsche Welle reported on 2 March 2018 about Vladimir Putin's announcement to build new and more nuclear weapons. VCDNP's Ulrich Kühn contributed to the story, saying that "What we saw in Putin's speech is half show and half reality ... but we should not underestimate the Russian military-industrial complex."
