VCDNP Senior Fellow Angela Kane has been invited to join as the newest and first non-Austrian Board member of the Foreign Policy and United Nations Association of Austria (ÖGAVN), a non-profit association that seeks to inform the Austrian population about issues of Austrian foreign policy as well as European and international issues.
The ÖGAVN works as an interface between the Austrian Foreign Ministry, the diplomatic community in Vienna and the international organisation in Vienna. To this aim, the ÖGAVN regularly organises lectures and panel discussions about pressing issues in international policy, including meetings of the ÖGAVN's International Club, which take place each Wednesday.
Ms. Kane has spoken in the past to the ÖGAVN's International Club on her long career with the UN.
