Background

Mr. Höfter joined the VCDNP as a Research Intern in September 2024. Previously, he worked as a management consultant for the public sector at Ernst & Young, where he advised senior government officials. Prior to this, he served as a research and teaching assistant to the academic chair of International Economics at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and worked with the speakers team for the 2023 GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, where he was responsible for supervising and assisting delegations and high-level policy-makers. He is also an active member of the CTBTO Youth Group.

Education

Mr. Höfter holds a graduate degree in International Relations as well as a postgraduate diploma from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the University of Vienna, specialising in the politics of nuclear weapons, environmental security, and cybersecurity politics. Mr. Höfter completed an undergraduate degree in European Economy and Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. Mr. Höfter is a native German speaker, fluent in English, and has intermediate proficiency in French.
