On 12-14 May, VCDNP Senior Research Associate Dr. Hanna Notte spoke at the Lennart Meri Conference in Tallinn, the premier conference on defense, security and foreign policy in the Baltic states. She spoke at a live-streamed pre-event on the Middle East on 12 May, addressing how Russia’s war against Ukraine has affected efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal. Co-panelists included Faysal Abbas (Arab News), Mustafa Aydin (Kadir Has University), Anna Borshchevskaya (WINEP) and Seth G Jones (CSIS). On 14 May, she moderated a closed-door breakfast discussion on evolving nuclear risks, which featured Stephen Biegun (Boeing Company), Xavier Chatel (French Presidency), Tomas Ries (National Defense College), Joseph M Siracusa (Curtin University) and Artyom Shraibman (Sense Analytics).
