The Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), an international non-governmental organization based in Vienna, Austria, is seeking individuals who have completed or are currently pursuing a graduate degree, preferably in natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, computing or engineering) or in international relations or political science. Candidates should have an interest in nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament issues. The Center's mission is to facilitate fruitful, result‑oriented, dialogue among national governments, international organizations, and civil society on nuclear disarmament and non‑proliferation and to conduct research, education and training programs on these issues.
The VCDNP invites applications for its Spring 2025 internship programme.
Applications from women and candidates from developing countries are strongly encouraged.
The internship, to be held in person in Vienna, will have a duration of up to six months.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 1000 Euro and medical insurance coverage. Relocation expenses, such as airfare or similar transportation costs (e.g. train), will also be covered, where applicable, and as agreed with the VCDNP.
