The new Munich Security Report 2018 (released on 9 February 2018) under the heading "To the Brink - and Back?" features graphics and analyses provided by the VCDNP. In particular, VCDNP Senior Research Associate Ulrich Kühn analyzed the current Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty crisis, looking at potential NATO targets at risk by Russia's alleged introduction of INF-range weapons. Part of the analysis is also an assessment of possible NATO responses to the Russian violation and their likely impact on alliance unity.
