VCDNP Senior Fellow Angela Kane - SIPRI Interview

SIPRI spoke with VCDNP Senior Fellow Angela Kane at the 2017 EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Conference. Filmed in December of 2017, Ms. Kane shares her views on the most pressing issues in non-proliferation and disarmament affairs today.

Among the issues discussed were the tense situation around the nuclear crisis on the Korean Peninsula and the status of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

“We had a very good discussion today, we had very good views on it, but we also had views on what could be done. What are the positive steps, or what are any steps that can be taken to defuse the situation, to find some way forward? And that, I think, was very positive because it got people thinking.”
