On 2 November 2026, the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) Vienna Office organised an event in collaboration with Charles University. The event, part of the UNODA-VCDNP Joint Engagement Project, was generously supported by the Government of the Czech Republic.

The event brought together experts and students to discuss the future of disarmament and the prospects for strengthening existing international frameworks. The event was generously supported by the Government of the Czech Republic, and part of the UNODA-VCDNP Joint Engagement Project.

On 10 October 2022, the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the International Affairs Institute (IAI) organized a joint event at the University of Roma Tre titled: International Security, Nuclear Weapons and the War in Ukraine. The event is part of the Young Women and Next Generation Initiative (YWNGI), an effort of the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium (EUNPDC) to engage the next generation in non-proliferation, disarmament and arms control.
