Following the 27-28 February 2019 US-DPRK Summit, Deutsche Welle interviewed VCDNP Executive Director Laura Rockwood.

On 28 February 2019, VCDNP Executive Director Laura Rockwood was interviewed by Deutsche Welle's Melissa Chan on the the bilateral summit between American President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi, Vietnam.

During her interview, Ms. Rockwood commented on the diverging views between North Korea and the United States on the meaning of “denuclearization”, as well as the verification challenges an International Atomic Energy Agency inspection team might face if allowed back into the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
