VCDNP Senior Research Associate Louis Reitmann has been named to the 2026 list of Payload Pioneers.

Payload Pioneers is an annual list from the space industry publication Payload that recognises 30 people under 30 for outstanding achievements across the space community. Honorees come from industry, government, research and policy, and the list highlights the next generation shaping the future of space.

Louis leads the Center's work on outer space affairs and space security. He produces research and convenes dialogue that support States in preserving stability and reducing the risk of conflict in space, including through the UN Open-Ended Working Group on the Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space in Geneva. His recognition reflects the meaningful contribution that the VCDNP is making to multilateral space security governance.
